Kanya + Robert

We’ve had so much fun getting to know Kanya, Robert and their little girl Allie over the past few months. We filmed their love story, a beach boudoir shoot and now their intimate wedding at Twin Oaks Garden Estate. When filming their love story, we asked each of them what they were most excited for at the wedding. For Kanya, it was to see Robert standing at the end of the aisle as her future husband (and hopefully crying). :) For Robert, it was seeing Kanya for the first time walking out from under the arch and also to finally wear his wedding ring. And Allie told us that when Robert was going to be her dad, he was going to be the best dad in the whole world and that there was going to be a rainbow at the wedding and that she was going to catch it and ride down! :) It was so cool for us to see all their most anticipated moments become a reality. It was also really fun for us to share their love story and boudoir film at their reception and see the audience reaction! When we first met with Dana and Tim they told us they wanted to get creative with their backyard wedding. We played around with a few ideas but we had no idea how much fun we were in store for! Katie + Jimmy

We find ourselves so lucky to work with so many incredible couples and sometimes we even find ourselves lucky enough to walk away with new friends! We had an absolute blast getting to know Katie & Jimmy and being there to film their special day (aka “The Best Day Ever”). Katie and Jimmy’s day started with getting ready at La Costa and included too many heartfelt and hilarious moments for us to squeeze into their highlight film so we had to save some of those moments for the raw footage! Let’s just say the girls had a code word for when they were feeling too emotional and the guys had water guns and “Magic Grow” farm animal capsules. From there, it was off to Twin Oaks for some of the most emotional vows we’ve ever heard followed by a raging dance party! Katie does own a dance studio so we should have known everyone, including her grandma, would be gettin’ down!
