Dana + Tim

When we first met with Dana and Tim they told us they wanted to get creative with their backyard wedding. We played around with a few ideas but we had no idea how much fun we were in store for! From jumping on the bed to giant Jenga to a flash mob… there were too many amazing moments to fit into one film… but we tried! In addition to all the fun, the clouds were in our favor that day – you’ll have to check out all the time lapses in their highlight! One of our favorite details from the wedding were the place cards for all the guests. Dana had contacted a graphic designer to make a cartoon portrait of each guest and it was so fun to watch everyone try to find their seats. We loved these cartoons so much that they surprised us with one of our own when we met up after the wedding. Cheers to our new friends Dana & Tim! Katie + Jimmy

We find ourselves so lucky to work with so many incredible couples and sometimes we even find ourselves lucky enough to walk away with new friends! We had an absolute blast getting to know Katie & Jimmy and being there to film their special day (aka “The Best Day Ever”). Katie and Jimmy’s day started with getting ready at La Costa and included too many heartfelt and hilarious moments for us to squeeze into their highlight film so we had to save some of those moments for the raw footage! Let’s just say the girls had a code word for when they were feeling too emotional and the guys had water guns and “Magic Grow” farm animal capsules. From there, it was off to Twin Oaks for some of the most emotional vows we’ve ever heard followed by a raging dance party! Katie does own a dance studio so we should have known everyone, including her grandma, would be gettin’ down! Cheers Katie & Jimmy! xo Thanks so much to our good friend Audra Rene from Audra Rene Studio for introducing us to this amazing couple! It was so much fun working with her throughout the day and we love having a second look! Thanks also to our extremely talented photographer friends at First & Orange! You guys rock and we love working alongside you! Other vendors we had the pleasure of working with: Elena T Beauty, Brooklyn Tailors (designed by one of the groomsmen!), Michael’s Flower Girl and Classy Event Group. Mayra + Ron

We love the story of how Mayra & Ron met – it was pretty much love at first sight! For one year, Ron would walk by Mayra on his way to work, exchanging glaces but never stopping to speak to her. On the day Ron decided to quit his job, he finally stopped to say hello. That was the moment that changed their lives! Cheers Mayra & Ron!! We wish you all the best in your future together! Natalie + Adam

We loved Natalie & Adam’s wedding!! They, along with their family and friends, brought so much personality, fun and love to the day! And to all you best men out there that end your speech with a certain quote… we know you googled “how to give a great best man speech” so consider yourself busted! Susan + Todd

Susan & Todd had a very cool wedding designed by the talented crew at Pow Wow and the drinks flowed all day long thanks to Snake Oil Cocktails. The celebrations started at Casa Del Prado in Balboa Park and then it was off to one of the most stunning receptions ever at Luce Loft. We love how Susan & Todd incorporated so many personal touches throughout their day! Thanks also to Thorne Artistry, Leaf it to Lexi, The Vetted Table and DJ Chris Anthony for making this day unforgettably awesome!

Kanya + Robert Love Story & Beach Boudoir

We have had so much fun working with Robert, Kanya and their little girl Allie this year! First of all, Allie is one of the cutest kids ever so it was always a joy to have her around. Secondly, Kanya and Robert, in addition to being super sweet and in love, were always up for trying something new – and that’s always fun for us! This is their love story film and we incorporated old iPhone footage from their relationship to make it even more meaningful – check it out to see how they first met and be sure to stay tuned for the outtakes at the end because like we said, Allie is pretty freaking cute! http://quixoticweddings.com http://quixoticpictures.com https://www.facebook.com/QuixoticPictures http://www.youtube.com/user/QuixoticPicturesHD https://twitter.com/Quixotic_tweets

The next video we did for them was a beach boudoir shoot that contains some seriously sexy footage (so don't say we didn't warn you). Kanya wanted to do something special for Robert and, inspired by Beach Bunny Bride Swimwear, proposed her idea. She wanted to incorporate Robert and have a little fun with it... Contact us to see the private video if you are considering a video boudoir shoot!

Annie + Drew

We met Annie & Drew last year while filming a wedding for their good friends Dana & Sage and going into their day we knew it was going to be a good time… but it still managed to wayyyy exceed our expectations!! There were bridesmaids sliding out of the bathroom singing into hairdryers “Risky Business” style, a pub crawl that stopped at the PB Shore Club where Annie & Drew first met, a wild ride all around San Diego on the Big Woody Limo party bus, groomsmen serenading the bride at the end of the night to “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling” and we had the pleasure of spending the day shooting alongside the amazing April & Joey from Half Full Photography. To make it even better, we got to work with Sharon from Organic Elements, DJ Mike Hogan, Whitney Matta Weddings & Events, Courtney from Brightly Designed and Girl on the Go (Makeup)! The ceremony took place at Founders Chapel with a reception following at the US Grant Hotel. In addition to the cuteness, they are also incredibly sweet and crazy in love and we felt so lucky to be part of their wedding! Thanks Tara & Eric! Laura & James first met when Laura included James in a round of drinks she bought for her friends at a restaurant. And so, it was only fitting that they took "I Do Do" shots at the end of their ceremony! The celebrating continued late into the night with belly dancers, more toasts and lots and lots of dancing. We especially loved when Laura kept teasing James with the first bite of cake!

Thanks Laura & James for including us in your amazing day - we wish you two the best! Cheers!!

It is really exciting for us to share this emotional piece from Jess & Brian’s wedding! Having been friends before dating, they share a truly intimate connection and we are so excited for their future together! Some of our favorite moments were at the beach with the couple and the bridal party before the reception. And, of course the birds – we loved the birds! And Jess’ dress & veil… And Father Lawrence’s ability to make everyone in the room laugh… Obviously we could go on and on, so you should probably just watch it! Cheers Jess & Brian! The word ‘quixotic’ means: 1. Resembling or befitting Don Quixote; 2. Extravagantly chivalrous or romantic; visionary; 3. Idealistic without regard to practicality. This wedding pretty much covers all that… From the beautiful, heartfelt vows to all the men at the reception serenading the bride with "you've lost that loving feeling" at the end of the night, this wedding was truly an experience to be part of and one that we will not soon forget!!
